1. Sergio Ramos x Fernando Torres Indirect Bromance

CAPTION: Felicito a un gran amigo que, aunque no está aquí, siempre se le echa de menos. ¡Feliz cumpleaños!

Translation: I want to congratulate a great friend who is not here, missing him lots… Happy birthday!!

It’s Fernando Torres’ birthday today and suddenly my Facebook Timeline is full of Footballers’ Bromance Photos with him. I was like WTF?! But quite funny though xD

Here’s another one from David Luiz:

  3. No upset in Champions League, both Chelsea and Real won!

No upset in Champions League, both Chelsea and Real won! I wonder who’s going to win tomorrow’s Marseille vs Bayern / Milan vs Barcelona?

I’m thinking both Bayern and Barcelona will get an advantage tomorrow but I want to see what Milan has in store. Also on the Milan vs. Barca I think it’s the match where I will finally see Stephan El Shaarawy’s real potential. But before all that… Here’s my view on the recent UEFA matches.

As expected the Spanish giants won the first leg of the match against APOEL. Karim Benzama scored two goals while Kaka scored and assist one also making both of them eligible to be called Top of the Match.

While at Benifica vs. Chelsea match it so obvious Di Matteo is sending some message that he deserves the job and he should keep it! Just think about it, after the step as the new temporary coach of Chelsea, Fernando Torres kinda gains his confidence again and little by little getting his mojo back performing well on the field. He’s hard-work and assist pays off upsetting the Portuguese team. I think this is the first time after over a year since he moved to Chelsea that I said something really nice about Fernando Torres.

Though as much we all love Fernando Torres’ new found confidence, David Luiz definitely the one who earns the Top of the Match title doing a great job at the defense making everyone ask themselves… “Is he the same David Luiz who we find unreliable in the Premiere League?”

Can’t wait for the upcoming matches… UEFA is definitely the high light of my yearly football experience.
