We all know that Real Madrid CF’s midfielder Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite simply known as “Kaka” used to be in Italy’s AC Milan. But did you know he was called “Prince Kaka” by the Italian press for some time?
Caroline Celico, his girlfriend that time (now his wife) never dreamed of marrying young to a footballer (soccer player) one day, she dreamed of marrying a business man or a prince, someone who will wear a suit to work and she will fix his tie every morning. When she met Kaka, he was playing for Sao Paulo Futebol Clube and would go to work in shorts and flip-flops but she gave it a chance anyway.
One day, just after Carol’s physical education class she got a call from Kaka in her phone hidden by a teacher, she greeted him “Hi Bu!” because that’s what they call each other, and he answered back “we need to talk” and it hit her, he will move abroad, he had signed his transfer to AC Milan. On that same day Kaka had a flight to Italy and living his dreams but in addition that he did not know he was also fulfilling his love one’s dream: In Milan he would go to football practices and matches dressed in nice suits, just like a business man. For many years he was called “Prince Kaka” by the Italian press.
Now Carol and Kaka lives in Madrid, Spain with their little bundles of joy, Lucca and their new baby girl (name not given publicly yet).
After I’ve heard this story my first reaction was “ugh! That’s so cute!” (^^,) It’s like a modern fairy tale! But this is not a fairy tale, its reality! It proves that the little things that the person you truly love do (without them even knowing) could make you happy and true love is not about finding the perfect person who matches all characteristics you like in your list.
Like art, love doesn’t also have a definite definition but we have a lot of ways to explain it. For me, love is about finding the right person, not perfect because nobody’s perfect, which makes you happy, spend the rest of your life with him/her and fall in love everyday like how you fell in love with him/her for the first time even by just the littlest things they do. Hope we all find our own right person and live in our own love story.
